Privacy
What happens to your email address when you join the waitlist, in plain English.
Who’s looking after it
Midlife Shortcut is run by Tracy, in the UK. If you have a question about your data, email tracy@midlifeshortcut.com.
What I collect
The email address you type into the form, and the date you signed up. Kit, my email provider, also records whether you confirmed your address, which emails you open and click, and roughly where you were when you signed up, based on your IP address.
What I use it for
To tell you when the AI System Snapshot is ready, and after that to email you when I’ve built something worth telling you about. I rely on your consent for this, which you can take back at any time.
I don’t sell your address, and I don’t share it with anyone except the services below.
The services involved
- Kit stores the list and sends the emails. It’s a US company, so your details may be held outside the UK.
- Cloudflare hosts this website, and handles visitors’ IP addresses so the site can load and stay secure.
- Google Fonts supplies the lettering on this page, so your browser shares your IP address with Google when the page loads.
Cookies and similar
The sign-up form comes from Kit, and it may store a small identifier in your browser so it can recognise a returning visitor. I don’t use advertising trackers on this page.
How long I keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it. After that I may keep a record that you unsubscribed, so you don’t get emailed again by mistake.
Your rights
Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask me to show you what I hold, correct it or delete it, by emailing the address above.
If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, please tell me first. You can also complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office.
